Used up all my ripe bananas last night...yummy!

I used up all my ripe bananas last night!  Yummy!!!

Ingredients:
3-4 ripe bananas, mashed
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp milk
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Directions:
Measure dry ingredients (flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda) in a medium bowl and set aside.  In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.  Add eggs one at a time; stir in bananas, vanilla and milk.  Add dry ingredients (half at a time) to the butter/sugar/egg mixture; stirring thoroughly until well blended.  Stir in walnuts and chocolate chips.  Pour into a greased and lightly floured 9 x 4 loaf pan and bake at 325 degrees F for approximately 1 hour & 10 minutes.  Bread is done when a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean (unless you hit a chocolate chip...then find another spot and try again!).

What kind of all purpose flour are you using that make this bread wheat, grain and gluten free? Thank You!

Hi Gina -- the banana bread recipe is not wheat/grain free -- I began this blog in January BEFORE going wheat and grain free. The link to all the wheat/grain free recipes can be found on the right side of my blog underneath the "Welcome" message. It can also be found alphabetically on the right side under "Wheat/Grain/Gluten Free". All my wheat/grain free recipes began on July 10th and are wheat and grain free -- as well as a few before that. Hope that helps! :-)
