If we are able to quit getting these pop up thunderstorms around dinner time...maybe we'll get to grill a piece soon. :-)Gourmet Girl Cookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01316245779890747698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2285523888432056855.post-2910599210675984072014-06-19T00:44:39.597-04:002014-06-19T00:44:39.597-04:00Hi GGC,

Hubby recommends using a Very Thin metal pancake turner to slide underneath the salmon when you go to turn it.

We need to get some more, too. It won't be long before we'll have to say 'bye till next summer.CyberSishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12785005260630246224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2285523888432056855.post-7522813631110721792014-06-18T12:48:34.735-04:002014-06-18T12:48:34.735-04:00Hi CyberSis,

I may try that with a couple of pieces to see how that goes! I want to keep it simple this next time. Hope I can find more again this coming weekend -- still have 2 large fillets in the fridge now. :-)Gourmet Girl Cookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10741830600608488811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2285523888432056855.post-28583101401975911142014-06-18T01:22:04.036-04:002014-06-18T01:22:04.036-04:00Hi GGC,

We have a fish basket (somewhere) but he's had good luck with just placing it directly on the grill, skin side down first. Sometimes he loses a bit of skin when he flips it, but the salmon generally produces its own "grease" when it begins cooking. Once in a while he'll spray the grill with a little high-temp "grilling" PAM but usually doesn't bother with it. We had some more Copper River Red tonight ... perfection! :-)CyberSishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12785005260630246224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2285523888432056855.post-66964117563954228332014-06-18T00:27:30.542-04:002014-06-18T00:27:30.542-04:00Hi CyberSis,

Do you use a fish basket or a pan of any sort of just place it directly on the grill? I can't remember if I've asked you that before. :-)Gourmet Girl Cookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10741830600608488811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2285523888432056855.post-3069601495305940012014-06-15T22:44:45.782-04:002014-06-15T22:44:45.782-04:00Hi GGC,

We cooked it on the "barbie" again and it was even more delectable than last week's, if that's possible. I just can't bring myself to put anything on Copper River salmon other than a little fresh lemon and butter. Out of this world! :-)CyberSishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12785005260630246224noreply@blogger.com
