I am thinking the Hot Mexican Style Chili powder might be hotter than the "Chipotle Chili Powder"...but you can reduce the amount or use it to taste easily. Just use a spicier flavor that you really like and it will turn out good no matter what. I looked online to see what the best substitute was and found this info from Fine Cooking magazine (they suggested spanish paprika).
