I did not feel any different or left out -- it was great! We have so many goodie baskets, platters and heaps of holiday treats in the office this last week or 2 and I can honestly say I don't crave it at all -- much of it sits in my office, too!!! If I want a "snack" I have roasted almonds or my 85% chocolate bar and I am not "settling"...but seriously happy with that! I hope to get back to posting this weekend -- have been trying to get caught up with holiday things the last few days. "Holiday Pizza" sounds great for Christmas eve dinner! I am planning to make lasagna (my usual) only this year EVERYONE in my family will be enjoying the grain free version! ;-)Gourmet Girl Cookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10741830600608488811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2285523888432056855.post-68172988216689718402013-12-19T20:47:58.353-05:002013-12-19T20:47:58.353-05:00How nice that you were able to make your own pizza...How nice that you were able to make your own pizza and join in with your co-workers! I know what it's like being the only one not eating the "usual" party foods. None of my co-workers are interested in changing their eating style, tho, beyond showing a little curiosity and then the comment about not being able to live without bread/pasta etc. Maybe someday I'll help convert someone, I hope!

I think I'll make your pizza for a simple Xmas Eve dinner! I have spent the last couple of evenings shopping after work until late at night and am exhausted when I get back home at 10pm. I have been just eating simple deli turkey and cheese wraps or leftover pizza and not really "cooking". I finally got my packages mailed yesterday and my Christmas cards written and in the mail today -- maybe after tonight, things will get back to "normal" (I hope). I hope you are doing well and have missed hearing from you. And no, no lottery winning for me -- although I did play! ;-)Gourmet Girl Cookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10741830600608488811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2285523888432056855.post-5447027897656974742013-12-19T04:03:20.797-05:002013-12-19T04:03:20.797-05:00Hi GG, I hope that you are alright! I just hope that you are busy with Christmas and nothing else!
Please let me know that you are fine! Glad you didn't have to waste it and so glad you enjoy the "original crust", too! :-)Gourmet Girl Cookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10741830600608488811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2285523888432056855.post-13966292647106211732013-12-17T23:14:13.801-05:002013-12-17T23:14:13.801-05:00Hi GGC,

If they did, I'll bet they were surprised at how yummy it was. It wouldn't surprise me if they asked for the recipe, too. :-)CyberSishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12785005260630246224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2285523888432056855.post-24350415640136326712013-12-17T20:56:26.531-05:002013-12-17T20:56:26.531-05:00Oh, my goodness, you have to hear this! When I returned to measuring the flax seed meal, I put in 1 cup instead of 1/4 cup! When I realized it, it was too late. So I thought, what do I have to lose? I spread it and baked as usual. It still worked, even though it was firmer. And now the pizza is a delicious memory. I prefer the original, but we could even eat a mistake!Kathleen F Turnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15015414625916731639noreply@blogger.com
