I bet there are numerous variations out there though. :-)Gourmet Girl Cookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10741830600608488811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2285523888432056855.post-77101384568453227182014-12-08T01:48:14.236-05:002014-12-08T01:48:14.236-05:00Hi GGC,

It seems to me, however, that I've seen round bialys that resembled bagels, but instead of the center hole they had an indentation on top that held a filling. I'm sure that like anything else there are regional variations and cross-overs. Thanks for filling the blanks in my memory banks! :-)CyberSishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12785005260630246224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2285523888432056855.post-10516168996533405492014-12-07T22:49:40.286-05:002014-12-07T22:49:40.286-05:00Hi CyberSis,

How nice that you took them as a hostess gift, too!

About the loaf shaped bagels...not sure if what you were thinking about were bialys?

Hope you had a great weekend! :-)

Gourmet Girl Cookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10741830600608488811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2285523888432056855.post-29507060041029398372014-12-07T00:51:55.367-05:002014-12-07T00:51:55.367-05:00Hi GGC,

I bet you can't get them any fresher than that!

I'll have to look at Costco for the coconut chips ... yummy! Better pick up some more cranberries, too. :-)

We had your Power Bagels today, also ... the cranberry walnut ones (with a little Antioxidant Fusion thrown in, just to cover all the bases.) My hubby simply loves them ... and so do I! I can't make them fast enough, it seems! I took some to a friends house recently, as a hostess gift, and they absolutely adored them!

Say, do you remember what they call bagels that are in that little "loaf" type shape? For some reason I've been racking my brain lately about that, but with no result. I *think* it *might* begin with a "B" ... but don't quote me on it! :-)CyberSishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12785005260630246224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2285523888432056855.post-58330007272316087972014-12-07T00:02:23.451-05:002014-12-07T00:02:23.451-05:00trader joes has them on stalks at this time of yea...trader joes has them on stalks at this time of year. so beautiful i was tempted last year to get some to use for xmas decorations lol!! some ppl roast them right on the stalks.samudranoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2285523888432056855.post-39855771762372292172014-12-06T23:51:20.247-05:002014-12-06T23:51:20.247-05:00That makes 2 of us Charlotte! :-)That makes 2 of us Charlotte! :-)Gourmet Girl Cookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01316245779890747698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2285523888432056855.post-92052262957784847232014-12-06T21:07:45.791-05:002014-12-06T21:07:45.791-05:00WOW!!!
