Welcome To My Blog!

Welcome to my blog!  This is my first posting and I am looking forward to sharing my love of food and cooking with you....as well as some of my favorite recipes and photos.  Cooking is a passion of mine and I love experimenting in the kitchen.  I rarely follow a recipe exactly and usually feel the need to add a "tweak or two" to make it my own.  I am new to blogging so please bear with me as I find my way.  I will share my successes with you, as well as my flops...and while I do consider myself a good cook, I have most definitely had my share of flops....(my family is usually very happy to point them out)!  So today is the first day of the rest of my blogging life....hang on, I have a feeling this is going to be a very bumpy ride!

Thanks, Teresa...I will post it for you...but it is so simple. If you have ever made "7-Layer Magic Cookie Bars", it is basically that recipe and instead of the chocolate chips, I used the Easter colored M&M's in their place. Until I can post them properly, the recipe is below:

Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 (14 ounce) can EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk
2 cups semisweet chocolate morsels (or substitute M&M's)
1-1/3 cups flaked coconut
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees (325 for glass dish). Spray 13x9-inch baking pan with no-stick cooking spray.
Combine graham cracker crumbs and butter. Press into bottom of prepared pan. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumb mixture. Layer evenly with chocolate chips, coconut and nuts. Press down firmly with a fork.
Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Cut into bars or diamonds. Store covered at room temperature.
**If using M&M's you can do 1/2 chips, 1/2 M&M's or all M&M's, but make sure you put the M&M's as the last layer on top so you can see them!
